CC Barton

CC’s principal interest is in expressing the essence of a particular form. As you can see in her rabbits she strives for balance, grace and simplicity in the finished work.  In addition, CC has always had a love for words and believes they sometimes help create pieces which allow for a deeper emotional texture and connection.

CC Barton is a wonderfully talented artist from Salida, Colorado and we are simply in love with her rabbit images! She works in print making and drawing primarily, but also utilizes additional mediums from time to time in order to add diversity and depth to her overall artistic expression.  “I find that ‘crossing over’ into other mediums enhances my skills in general, as well as serving to keep my artistic perspective fresh.”
