Shannon Troxler

Shannon Troxler is a graduate of the Schuler School of Fine  Art in Baltimore, Maryland, where she learned to appreciate the craft of art and the traditions of the old masters. Troxler continued her studies with David Laffel at the Art Student’s League in New York City.

Shannon’s greeting cards explore her appreciation for Asian art. She has created a series of paintings on gold and silver leaf.  The paintings focus on bold composition and  elegant line.  The cards’ images are rooted in nature but take flight in whimsical imagination with  Asian inspired quotes.  These cards reflect the poetry woven into everyday life.
      
Troxler now lives in Wilson, Wyoming,  with her daughter and husband.
